The Boston Tax Help Coalition would like to thank the 424 Volunteers who dedicated their time during the 2017 tax season to prepare taxes and pull credit reports for FREE to City residents. Without their commitment and hard work, this free tax prep and wealth building program would not be possible. We thank each volunteer for their service, patience, and eagerness to learn and make a difference in the City of Boston. Over 13,000 tax returns have been prepared with 20 million in refunds, including 7 million in EITC refunds, have been returned to the Boston Communities. In addition, 2,250 credit reports were pulled, and 3,650 financial check-ups were conducted at tax sites in 2017.
